Plumeria by Renjitha Anoop was a diamond painting I bought to complete along with my mom but she ended up not wanting to work on it so I took it to work as a piece to work on during my long lunches. It finishes at 13 x 17 inches or 32.8 x 42.6 cm and is 17,784 drills total. It is pretty small and not overwhelming and great as a workplace craft, for someone that wants to do a snack sized piece or for beginners.

The original artwork is stunning with bright yellow plumeria blossoms shining against a dark background. The kit was done in round and was produced in April of 2023 and is of the older style with 14 colors total including 2 ABs and 1 Iridescent. I loved the simplicity and color blocking in this piece because it meant I could finish it rather quickly. I had no problems with running out of drills and had plenty of leftovers when the piece had been completed. I also did not have many trash drills at all with this one which was a pleasant surprise!

Overall I was very happy with the results once I finished Plumeria but I did have some issues with gapping that are common amongst older pieces. I did start this as my second ever diamond painting and did start learning how to multi place with this one so that could also be a large contributing factor to how uneven my drills are in some places. I am ok with that though because we all need to learn somewhere and it really isn’t noticeable from farther away, just close up.
I recommend this diamond painting to those who would like an easier piece to complete that enjoy both dark and light colors. There is a lot of color blocking with 310 around the border but it is easily broken up enough by the green patches to avoid burnout with one singular color. Because of the loose drill field and some very minor issues with the glue I would give this one 4 out of 5 stars. In all honesty, I will probably take a star off of most of the older kits I have to work on since the drill fields are generally looser and gapping can occur but overall I really enjoyed working on Plumeria!
